Over the last nine years, the proud citizens of Atmore, specifically The Pride of Atmore, have raised funds to restore the 100-year-old Strand Theater and to renovate the 125-year-old Atmore Hardware into a multipurpose venue named The Encore. These businesses are located on Main Street, at the heart of downtown, rejuvenating the Arts and Entertainment District in Atmore.
