Over the last nine years, the proud citizens of Atmore, specifically The Pride of Atmore, raised funds to restore the 100-year-old Strand Theater and renovated the 125-year-old Atmore Hardware into a multipurpose venue named The Encore. These businesses are located on Main Street at the heart of downtown, rejuvenating the Art in Atmore’s Arts and Entertainment District.
