One of Birmingham’s 99 neighborhoods, only 4 miles east of downtown, the Woodlawn community’s origins predate Birmingham itself. Founded in 1815, this historic community continues to exude a spirit of progress and unity.

Main Street organization REV Birmingham has been working in Woodlawn since 2004 to enhance the historic business district, in collaboration with the tight-knit community.
